Looking for part numbers for oil filter and fuel filter for my 300TDi engine. I have a part number for an Oil filter (can't recall what it is) but I'm looking for suggestions in case there is a better filter. As for the fuel filter I have no idea...
Thanks,
Andrew

Hi Andrew,
On my 300TDi I have used Napa Gold 1068 and Cooper ERR3340, typically they cost around $8 - $10 each. Likely not the "best that money can buy" but I change them twice a year,
I've been told that FRAM PH43 works well but I haven't tried one myself. Maybe someone else reading this has tried one?
cheers,
Andy

Hi Andrew
Some crossover numbers for Land Rover 300TDI:
Baldwin B74
Wix 51521 or 51068 (a little taller)
Luberfiner PH253
All very good filters and available at most of the bigger automotive supply house.
Hope this helps.
Ian

The fuel filter is BOSCH 1 457 434 106. You won't find it at an auto parts place. You are best just ordering them from a Land Rover parts place. It is good if you get used to order stuff from the UK.

For a fuel filter we are using a Fram #P1145A and Oil Fram PH3534 or Wix 51601, our engine was originally out of a disco.

Andrew
I found a Baldwin cross for the BOSCH 1 457 434 106 that RED90 mentioned.
Baldwin # BF587-D
You can go to the Baldwin web sight and get the specs (size, mounting thread etc) to compare and make sure it fits.
Baldwin can be purchased at Lordco and other supply houses.
