The 4x4 club from Prince George [ NCOAS ] were 4-wheeling in this area this past Labour Day weekend and were confronted by Conservation Officers . They were informed that this area is closed to all forms of motorized traffic 1 June to 15 October . Warnings were issued [ no tickets ] and license plate #'s were taken . Signs have been posted .
This area has been closed due to extensive damage to the apline meadows in this whole area and general disrespect for our outdoors . For those of you who have been to this area before will know what we lost as 4-wheeling explorers .
