FINALLY!!!!!!!!!!!!

#1 Post by Dave_F » Fri Dec 26, 2008 9:40 am

Here in Vancouver Canada it has snowed almost 30cm today...yesterday 20, the day before 20cm.....etc....

This a quote from my wife's Facebook page today...

..."The only day of my life I will say - thank goodness we have the land rover. It was the only way to go pick up the turkey."

Maybe now is the time to go and buy those new defender seats

Merry Christmas to all....[/i]

I got the same type of comments all week. Change is always slow.

Happy New Years all.

We always celebrate Chrismas Eve with our family. This year it was at
our house in cloverdale. On the morning of the 24th, everyone started
to cancel due to the heavy snow fall. So our plan's changed. As I was the only one with a proper 4x4, I picked up family members (thankfully we have a 7 seat Disco) and transported them to my brothers house. Our family was still able to celebrate Christmas together, thanks to the Discovery.

When I was driving down my brothers street I got several thumbs up by people seeing the full Disco pushing through the snow. At my brother's house, there was a big sign on his driveway "LANDROVER PARKING".

My wife said the disco saved Christmas :D

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year from our Family to all.

The disco can in handy to move party-goers to a Xmass eve dinner party. Made Several trips with 5 adults on board. On one trip when I pulled a u-turn in one half of HWY 10!! Wayne could not believe how tight the turn radius is compared to his Ford Sable wagon. He said he does not care how much this cost he wants one!!

I thing that was antifreeze talking..

Season Greeting !!!

Yes, the smugness we feel at times like this almost makes up for the skinned knuckles and ravaged savings
