Just out of curiosity and planning, is the trail friendly enough for a 1/4t military trailer?
It will be getting hauled by the Iltis, and i really did not want to leave it or park it while doing the Whipsaw.
Also I think my rig is setup well but if anyone who has done it can PM me with any pointers it would be greatly appreciated.
Unfortunately the Rangie will be staying at home as it is not being very nice to us.

Trailer on Whipsaw
Hi Reza,
Our group has done a couple of runs with a Sankey trailer in tow.
Didn't really have too much trouble, just had to take it a little slower than our normal pace otherwise it would start bouncing!
Not sure what kind of tow hitch you have, but a full rotating pintle would be helpful.
I would suggest you run the trail starting at the Coalmont end, this way you wont have to pull the trailer up Falcon hill which is steep, long and loose under tyre. (better to go down than up).
The club will do 3 or 4 runs this year, dates are in the calendar. keep in mind that the snow can stick around up there well into July.
cheers,
Andy

"Based on my driving an Iltis with a trailer in the good old days I'd say that it is a bit of anchor off road, always got stuck and had to unhook trailer then pull it afterward."
Thats because in those days we didnt believe in winch power, just grunt power, LOL :D
thanks for the tips, the trailer is ex military m101 1/4t with a pintle hitch.
I am looking at probably 1st week August.
