Series II vs IIA head gasket.

Anyone know the difference? Is there one? What would need to be modified to make a Series II head gasket fit a Series IIA head? or will it simply bolt on unaltered.

As long as they are both 2.25 engines, and a visual inspection is done to ensure they both have identical holes, I would think they'd be the same. However, I seem to recall that early series IIs had a 2 liter engine, which is quite a different beast IIRC.
