Is anyone planning to go to the Solihull Society National Rally that is being held this year in Colorado at the end of August? Jeremy Pinney and I plan to go down with our NADA 110 and a Disco 2.

I'm planning to head down there with my youngest son in my Series 2A 109 SW. Victor and his wife are thinking of going down in their Dormobile.

Is there any way of keeping in touch on the way down? I'm planning on leaving on Sunday.
I have Ham Radio, CB , FRS and flashing headlights in a pinch. I don't know what frequencies are in common use in that area of the States.
Ray, when are you leaving?

I'll be on 146.460 and possibly on APRS. We can exchange cell phone numbers if you want.
I'm not sure if I'm going to leave Saturday and futz around on the way down or leave Sunday. I'll probably be travelling with a few other Land Rovers from WA on the way down.

I've been busy and on vacation as well so I've been a bit slow getting back. I'll be checking on 146.460 then.
Thanks

Well, this is a bit too late now, but I wound up not going. My #5 cylinder is misfiring.

I've been and am back. Had a good time despite a few little issues.
Another long trip put to bed. 3900 miles in all, not enough pictures.
