we shall see if these critters can be banished from my trusty steed

brought back memories that did..

had to buy this bit of kit since all the local mechanics can not read a disco abs system. hell they can't read anything more than my little obe2 hand held.

besides .. to quote the top gear boys.. "how hard can it be"

P1884 (Landrover): CAN message WFPDK (DKI) invalid (FFh).

P0102 is a bad maf.. ordered a new one.. but nowhere can i find anything related to the p1884 that is usefull some people thought it was maf related.. others think it is trany.. i have tried a lot of forums but nada .. any input would be welcome. hell i will even take outlandish lies (as long as they be funny)

btw when the amigo tool lands .. anyone who needs to borrow it can just drop me a line

Arriibaa! Yes, I had this happen 2 weeks ago, but some of the other symptoms where also present (slow eas lift, door-locks doing their own thing) prior to the amigos; simple change of battery and the amigos are gone and no other issues, EAS is lightning quick and starter just hammers the motor - who thought a battery could cause all this (battery seemed totally fine and never had any issues starting, however, voltage must have been a bit low. Also, apparantly the accumulator is a 5year service item and can also cause these issues :twisted:

Pretty sure that the amigos are due to a brake job i had done at a local shop. hence the usb amigo tool i ordered.

Same shop who fixed my water pump and after that my ac was discharged.. Still looking for a new shop
