TRAIL LEADER TRAINING

In order to encourage our members to start organizing and leading trips the NW Overland Society decided to get Bill Burke to do a 4 day "Trail Leader" class. We wound up with a mix of people signing up from 15+ years of offroading experience to literally no offroad driving experience so the class will be a mix of driving skills and trail leader skills. If anyone is interested, we have one vehicle spot left.

The cost is $356 (obo) per vehicle for 4 full days. You can split the cost amongst as many people as you can fit in your vehicle. :-)
The class is September 24-27. Most participants will meet at a campground in Eastern, WA on Wednesday the 23rd after work.

If you are interested, please contact me via PM here or on NorthwestOverlandSociety.org.

Hey Craig,
The slideshow sounds great but the timing is a problem. I have to take half a day off from work given the 3 hour drive. If it was a weekend I'd be all over it...

Regards,
Pete

That's the only day we could do it, as we'll be on the trail from Thursday - Sunday doing the training. We have a lot of members in Bellingham that are going to have to make the long commute too.

If it ends by 10p you'll be home by 1am... that's early by NW Challenge standards. ;) Getting down there in time is probably the more difficult part.
