Interior Bulkead behind rear seats on a 109 Four door Series

Thanks to all who responded before about the interior 'bulkhead' panelling within my Series 3. I should have posted pictures before. They are now at

Still trying to work out if I can remove it, or if in doing so I'll have poor fitting doors and side panels that shake like a drum!

If you take it out, you've put it back to the way it was built. It shouldn't effect the fit of the doors unless the door posts are so rusty they need the bracing. In that case you have more trouble than the doors.
