February, Island drive.

#1 Post by Greg S » Sat Feb 06, 2010 10:23 pm

There is a plan to go for a drive somewhere in the Nanaimo area on Saturday, February 27th. Stephen and Victor are getting details together and more information will be available soon.

***This post has been edited. The day has changed to Sunday. GS***We'll be going exploring up Northwest Bay Road. Meet at Tim Hortons by the Canadian Tire across from WoodGrove Mall on Sunday 28th Feb at 0930. We'll be pulling out of the parking lot at 1000. Bring a lunch and a radio, CB, HAM or FRS. There might be a possibility of dinner at a pub on the way home.

Hey Greg,

I'd like to say I'd come out for the drive, my contraption is pretty much ready, but there's this little hockey game at 12:15 that day...

I'll try to catch the next one, I put a plate on the 109 last weekend and drove to nanaimo home depot and back on saturday( fitting first ever run, chock full of lumber and crap)...

but sunday, I was on a couch wearing red and white...

sorry, priorities...

Hoping to go for a burn down a gravel road this weekend for a "shakedown/shakeoff" and see which bolts I forgot to tighten...
