Help!

I have been stalling at random, sometimes it will pop back to life and other times it just dies. so I am parking it till I figure this out. I took it to the mechanic this morning and he said try unplugging the MAS. I did, and it still stalls. Not sure what other info to give? sometimes it has done it at speed, feels like the engine shuts off and then comes back on. I went and had it checked to see if it was reading any codes and it wasn't. kind of glad it wasn't the MAS as I would have to do a botch job for that pricey piece of hardware.

I am willing to bet that my next option is the fuel pump. does this sound about right? I have fuel pressure... would it just flicker like that if the pump is dying or is there some kind of fuel pressure regulator that will be a simple cure all.

Sounds goofy, but have you tried wiggling the ignition key while the engine is running?
It has happened more than once.... with a decade of a few pounds of keys etc bouncing around has made for an intermittent key/ignition contact.
I wouldn’t hold my breath.....but always always start with the simple stuff.

I would second what Paul has said, from experience. I ended up with 2 faults the second one being distributor having intermittent issues until it got changed out. Truck would stall at idle or at any speed at any time.
