We're going for a drive next Saturday 2nd October, leaving from the Tim Horton's north of Duncan at the TCH and Drinkwater road at 0800 sharp. We're headed to the abandoned Mount Arrowsmith ski lodge via Lake Cowichan and a bunch of logging roads. It will be a day of exploring as we attempt to get to the arteries of logging roads where the ski lodge was, without going on the paved roads around Port. Bring a lunch, snacks and camera. If weather is anything like when I've been there before, also bring warm cloths and a rain hat. If you're looking for it on a map, the "Mount Arrowsmith" ski hill is actually on Mount Cokely. Go figure!
This should be a non-scratch event, depending whether you drive over a bank or not.

Of note: My computer is having a few issues, causing me some grief. I'd also put this on the Van Isle Land Rover Nertwork site but am unable to right now. I should be up and running properly again after Telus gets a service man out to our place on October 4th.
Van Isle Rover Landers outing.
