North West Challenge 2010 - Wrap-up & Score Sheet

#1 Post by bclandrover » Thu Sep 30, 2010 11:44 pm

Hello Everyone,

I would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped make this years event such a great success. Barry, Andrea and I could not have done it without the support of all the volunteers, participants and sponsors.

This event has evolved over the years. In the past it has been known for causing significant damage to all the participating vehicles and deterring future participants. It has now become an event with navigational, off-road, mental and physical challenges, lots of fun and opportunity to socialize and enjoy everyone’s company.

This year participants were put to the test with a High speed Hill climb, First Aid Task, Log Cutting operation, Winching task, Bridge Building / Bolder exercise, Tire repair and everyone’s favorite, filling the 5 gallon water bucket race and lots of wet stuff on Sunday. Everyone did really well and we were amazed how everyone stayed on schedule. For those of you who have to know your scores you can view the scoring totals by clicking “here”

I hope future events will bring more participants and volunteers out to enjoy the fun.

Thanks Again,

Don MacDonald (and the Newton's)

Everyone has already said it a few times, but no harm in saying it again.

Thank you Don and Barry for a really great event!

Cheers

Ray
