109 SW fuel tank.

I finally installed my new fuel tank. I'm wondering about the sender. There is a ground connection on the body of the sender, then two (2) protected mail bayonet connectors, I hooked my gauge wire to the one I thought was marked for it and the gauge works. What is the other connector for?

If I remember correctly it may be for a low fuel warning light.
