Yokohama Y742S TL tires - 750R16 D

In my sitting-around-not-moving-much convalescing style, I was surfing tires. I didn't know that Yokohama's Y742S mud/commercial tire is available in the 750R16 D format:

What intrugued me is that the rim-width range is 5.5-7", and the height is 32.1 inches. Looks like an old-school lugged tire. Is anyone running these?

Greg, What made you choose the Toyo open country m/t over the Yoko y742s?

Does anyone know how the y742s compares to the toyo m-55?

I decided to go with the larger 33 inch tire. It seems only BFG and Toyo have them available in that size in our part of the world. Once I got that in my mind it was a whole new search for data to make a decision. Toyo won and I'm pleased with my purchase.

My recommendation based on a stock engine and stock gearing on an old Series Land Rover is to not go larger than 235 85/16 (or 7.50 x 16). Having said that, I'm still happy with my choice.
