Home from a very long adventure

'Matilda' our 1986 110 just carried us over the Coquahalla and into Vancouver from Halifax. We drove across the States via Boston and Chicago. Camped all the way across. The end of a very long adventure that started in Cape Town four years ago. 28,800 Km in total. One alternator brush, a set of brake pads, one wheel cylinder, a set of rear springs, two batteries and a speedo cable. Currently at 320,000 Km. Thanks to Chris Palmer in 'Oscar' who shared the African sections and Dave Power who met 'Matilda' off the Ferry from Liverpool and stored her half a summer.

Sounds like a good trip. I hope I can have as many good expedition miles as you experienced. Why so many batteries?
