Anyone have tips/guide/expiernce on replacing the transfer case mounts on a D1 Automatic? One of mine is shot so I've got some new ones on order.
Hoping I can basically just slap a jack under there. Slide the old ones out, slide the new ones in.

That's the usual method. I replaced mine for my D2 recently. It was a tight job, but doable as long as you unbolt the nuts on both sides. I'm pretty sure the D1 will be similar.
have fun. Dave

Dave.
I'm assuming the DII mounts are the same, but did two of your bolts on the passenger side mount go into the oil cavity?
I can't believe they would make mounts that force you to drain the TC. Ridicilious design.
