Camel 110 in N. Van

#1 Post by Colin » Mon Mar 14, 2005 2:20 pm

I have seen a Camel coloured (no stickers) 110 5-door running around N. Van. It must be a recent arrival, seen it twice and always driven by a woman. Actually in the same day I got to see 3 110 5 doors, it is a cruel joke by the world to remind me of what I don't have!!!

Hi Colin, the Camel coloured truck was at Founder's day. Newly imported, the owner was just recently working on getting it through the provincial test. It has the Diesel Turbo engine in it.

Hi Colin,

That would be my camel coloured 110 you saw, and that was my wife driving it around North Vancouver. I believe it was at one point in time a genuine Camel Trophy truck but much has been altered over time What remains is still a solid 110. It's been my daily driver since I brought it over in early January. Colin didn't you have a green 109 fitted with a turbo diesel engine, snorkel, winch and bullbar at one point in time? If it was you, then I believe I rented your truck for my wedding about 8 years ago shortly after the frame on my 88 broke.

Hey! Yes that was me. I sold that truck to a wanker down South, a stupid move on my part. Glad to see the marriage and the love affair still going strong. Now I am envious of you and your truck!!! :D

Got married myself and sprouted a little one, since then the landrovers are hurting. :(
