Fixing Air Conditioning in RRC?

#1 Post by HeadDamage » Thu Jun 14, 2012 7:54 pm

My AC system was working in my RRC before the RHD to LHD conversion but it had to be emptied during the conversion. I've just recharged the system, I pulled the system down to -20inHg for a couple of hours then added a can of DuraCool and a Can of DuraDry. The air from the vents blows between -5 and -10C now which is great. However, I have to hot wire the compressor right now to get the clutch to engage. For some reason everything is working accept that there is now power going to the compressor clutch.

Does anyone have a circuit diagram of the AC system in a 1993 RRC that I can use to try and find the fault?

Thanks.

Turned out the wiring harness that I used came from a V8 RRC and it wanted the EFI computer to ground the compressor relay. I changed the wiring a little for that relay and now AC is working great!
