Anyone got any experience troublshooting FFR regulators? I'm getting low voltage out of the alternator and no change with rpm. The battery finally discharges and everything grinds to a halt. I have probably inflicted a problem by moving the regulator box up into the tub from under the tub floor when i changed chassis. At least I'm standing up to look into the regulator box rather than lying underneath the truck. Anyone got any documantation or troublshooting data for the regulator?
I have a 1979 ser III 88" Airportable 1/2ton FFR

Can't give you a direct answer but you could try the EMLA (Ex Military Land Rover Assoc.) in the UK. Plenty of ex-signals guys on there who will know the FFR install inside out.
Best of luck ;-)

Downloaded some stuff from http://www.ferret-afv.org/manuals/allchargedup1.pdf which was pretty useful. It identified what I had and helped me trouble shoot. Still not got it fixed yet.....
