has anyone had a look at this defender that can give some insight? I dont have the chance to make it to vancouver to have a look and from the ad the seller is not too interested in giving detailed pics.
if anyone has looked at it and can share some more info i would appreciate it. just want to get a clear picture of what it will need to have done to be road worthy, pass inspection, and have the rover reliability:wink: , etc...

Re: defender
I stopped by for a look see , looks can be deceiving , while that looks like a Defender 110 it is in fact a tank ( bulletproof glass , steel plates in the doors , some kind of fiberglass/kevlar stuff riveted down on all the floor surfaces , the roof is double layers , steel plates on the rear door , the grille has some kind of bulletproof deflector ( the bit that sticks out a little more than a regular flat front looking defender ) steel lined engine compartment etc.... that being said I am still thinking about it........ it would be quite a bit of work to bring it back to "stock"
( all the doors would be swiss cheese with holes once the armor was removed ) but the price is nice and the seller seems like a decent chap ( thanks for the beer ) :D
