Land Rover National Rally - Moab Utah October 2-6, 2012

It's time to start thinking about the bi-annual Moab Rally. For those who have never "off-roaded" in Moab just imagine the beautiful high sierra scenery and traction that you just wouldn't believe possible. Have a look in the old photo's albums and start planning to be part of it.

Just checking in from Sedona, AZ to see if anyone else is attending this years National Rally in Moab, is anyone?? Not even from Manitoba???

Tomorrow I am heading out on a trip with the Arizona Land Rover group and then up to Moab. The weather is fabulous.

We arrived in Moab earlier today and found an eccentric Scotsman from Manitoba and another Canadian from Edmonton. As expected numbers are really down, only about 75 trucks registered, we will see for sure tomorrow morning.

So far I have done the Canyon de Chelly with AZLRO and two Navajo guides which was unforgetable.

Then today came across the Million Dollar Highway in Colorado which is truely spectacular this time of year.

Next years Rally is in Ouray Colorado in August. I passed through there on my trip and loved the place so I am planning on attending. Hopefully we can get a larger contingent of Canadian Rovers as only three attended this year.
