Followup, excellent Dave :D , as you can see Dave has managed to get the avatar thumbnail id picture system back up and running. Just log in, then click on the profile icon at the top of the page, then scroll down to the bottom of your profile and the rest should be self explanitory, just remember that the image size is critical.

(Dave, any chance on you reminding us how we can attach a picture as an identifier with each post :? . I know your really busy but whenever you have time.

Doesn't appear to work for me.

I had an avatar before the site went down, now I don't. If I delete it and upload a new one, I still don't have one, just an image locator, not the actual image.

Any ideas?

Delete your image, then update your profile, then go back into the profile, add the new image and update again. Thats what I had to do with mine.

Try it now. There appeared to be some sort of permission locking when it was moved to the new permanent server Tuesday evening.
