I'm looking at buying a '93 Range Rover and I read they started putting 24 spline (or is it 23?) axles into them part way through the '93 model year. Is there anyway to tell without pulling a wheel and hub?
It is a '93 RR Clasic LWB. Man! Do they ever have a LOT of leg room in the back seat.
Thanks

RR 24 spline
Hi Greg,
I believe that the change to 24 spline was between 1992/93.
I have been told that when ABS became standard then so did the 24 spline.
Here is a link with more info & some photos that ID the two different types by just looking at the hubs;

Good luck,
Andy
