LR3 web site

#1 Post by jeepingpw » Sun Jun 02, 2013 9:35 am

Was thinking of getting a LR3 so did alot of searching & found this web site.

I think I'll be looking into a Disco 2 instead.

Just remember all those people who don't blog because their cars are working fine.

And, if you go off road, you'll smash, dent, flood, etc. all the bits before they fail anyway.

Overall an LR3 will be more reliable than a Disco 2. I don't believe either will be any different than similar models from other makes of the same age.

Have you read this sit? LR3 I think would be the way to go.
Question is what are your plans for this new rover?

+1 for the LR3

The Disco 2 is a nice car, but it doesn't seem to offer much more than a D1 which is cheaper and easier to work on. The LR3 might not be the easiest shade tree mechanic's car, but it offers a LOT more than a D1/2.

I own a 2006 LR3 SE my wife drives it 90% of the time and we really like it. It has 140,000 km on it and still going strong. The next one will be the LR4 love the car. Yes some times small things break down but its a land rover. But nothing what those idiots claim from that web site. We owned a volkswagen touareg before the LR3 and we had more expensive maintenance bills than the rover. Also the fuel consumption is also not that bad on the high way what we mostly drive we are getting 8km per liter. But its a big car nothing like most suv.

But it can't beat my defender:)
