New Diesel Land Rovers coming

I just read online that JLR is planning to bring a hybrid diesel Range Rover Sport model for sale next year. A big reason seems to be new EU emission regulations that are far more similar to US regulations. Therefore, engines designed to meet the new EU rules will, effectively also meet US regs without needing any changes. Other diesel Land Rovers are expected to follow. The article noted that new vehicle sales in North America were up only just over 2% while both diesel and SUV sales were up 24%. Nothing official from JLR though.
