2003 Disco 2 dash light, Now With Pics

Looking to buy a 2003 disco 2 but it has this light on in the dash

I have only seen a exclamation mark (!) on my 2003 Discovery next to the hill descent control light on the dash.

That light is quite possibly either your parking brake or low brake fluid indicator

A couple of things to look at:

Check the brake fluid level as well as the connections for the sensor on the brake fluid reservoir.

Check the parking brake - is it on at all?

Check the parking brake sensor (try pushing down on the hand brake handle with the thumb button depressed to see if the switch will turn-off the light).

That light is for your brakes specifically. Usually the one for your parking brake looks the same but has a "P" in the middle. Put your park brake on to see the other light (if you don't have one, it may use the same light).
The system is detecting something wrong with your brakes. Check things to do with your brakes. Most likely it's trying to tell you that you have low fluid.
