Great video, I wish it went more into detail and showed more of what the LR4 can do. Still it's nice to know you can still cross the USA without roads. I'd love to do a trip like this but I don't think my old wreck would make it.

This is the trail I set out to do the summer. Though unfortunately with 2dogs and over 100 degrees I only traveled a short distance. Also a blown radiator. I'm in if folks are going. I an on going next year. Unfortunately, the Land rovers were not the first four wheel vehicles on the trail.

Sounds a lot like trips by the Border to Border Expedition Society. Their first run was in 1998 and a bunch of the Rover-Landers took part. They did an annual trip till 2005(?). I was fortunate to do part of the 1999 trip and then did the 2002 trip with my son. They were under a two week time constraint and did north/south trips. Although a lot of the route was off-road, there were large sections of secondary highway between dirt. Had to do it that way to keep it in the time frame. Even at that, a lot of the days driving didn't end until after 9 pm and sometimes as late as midnight. They were a blast regardless!

A few of the Rover-Landers probably have a B2B video around somewhere. I used to, but it is hidden in one of my piles of junk around here. I think there were two videos commercially done and another two that were supposed to be done except for some financial misunderstanding and noses being out of joint.

I did the western end of the TAT trip with the guys from LRNA. It was pretty cool actually. I am doing a detailed writeup for Overland Journal in the Spring.
