In the spring of 1998 26 Land Rovers and their passengers took parts in an event to mark the 50th anniversary of the Land Rover. As a group we traveled across the US from the Canadian border to the Mexican border. Among the participants was a fairly large contingent from British Columbia. I found out last night at Founders Day that one of the younger participants in the group wrote an ebook about his experience on the trip. A forum threat started by the author can be found here http://forums.roversnorth.com/showthrea ... ition-book
In subsequent years the Border to Border Expedition Society also did a few more events and at least one of them is recorded here in this video posted on Youtube http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mlw01iRTxAY
Thanks Brian for the heads up.

From the 1999 "Trek" there is also www.lab-rover.com/trekupdates.html
The whole calendar that comes up is about part two of the trek. They were doing live updates on the journey to participating schools via sat phone link and had 360° panoramic photos ( interactive?)
There was a video produced of the 2002 Trek as well. I thought I saw part of it but I can't remember who did it or where it was.
