Hello Island Roverlanders.
I'm in Victoria for a few months and thought I'd say hello.

Best cheers and hope to meet you.

Hello Peter.
Saw the post in the General section too. It's about time, or even past time, that we had another coffee night at the Six Mile. Or should we try someplace different? We can make plans for our annual post Christmas drive too.

With this weather maybe we should look at bodging together an amphibious Land Rover. I'm surprised nobody has come up with that idea before:;

Anybody else in the Island group have any input?

Hi Everyone

Hi Peter great web site you have and some very interesting stories they are a real pleasure to read.

I am up for a coffee night. The six mile pub is great and we are always treated very well, last time the owner even saved us all the choice parking spots right in front of the entrance.

If we want to try something different there is a new pub up in downtown Ladysmith and the towns Christmas lights are amazing.

So to make sure we give everyone lots of notice how about trying for the weekend of December 19th to 21st? Maybe we can get a small drive in before the pub? Just to work up a appetite. The series drivers will be hungary for sure and have earned a meal no luxury energy saving features like power steering that the drivers of the more modern rovers are blessed with.
