I cold galvinized my firewall 3 years ago and it seams to be holding up well. I would recomend it as a solution to the rust that tends to happen there...

That looks like it turned out very nicely. Where did you get it done? And if you don't mind, what was the cost?

Industrial Galvanizing here in Calgary. This is the fourth frame over the last 20 years that I have had done there, they do good work. It was $345 including my winch bumper, skid plates and other small parts. I have a bulkhead that they did about 5 or ten years ago that we never used, I will now be using it. I don't know if the alum body work is going to look as good but the steel should be nice and rust free for years to come :D
