In 1957 artist and naturalist Robert Bateman and his best friend Dr Bristol Foster embarked on the adventure of a lifetime. Travelling around the world in a Land Rover these two young men set off to explore, document and discover the natural world. They used every means available to them: photo, film, paper, pen, and brush to capture a world that no longer exists. Share their awe at the majesty of unspoiled nature through photos, film and sketches in this exhibit showcasing the epic adventure in the Grizzly Torque.
Find out about this special exhibit running May 30 - Sept 30 at the Robert Bateman Centre in Victoria, BC.

Re: Rover Boys Exhibit Opening - Robert Bateman Centre, Vict
The Grizzly Torque will make it's Victoria debut at the "Car Free" day June 21st http://downtownvictoria.ca/carfree2015
Also starting on June 22 until the 28th it will be on exhibit outside the Bateman Centre as part of the Rover Boys exhibit http://batemancentre.org/exhibits/rover-boys/
Dr Bristol Foster will be on hand that week to answer questions and tell his stories. I will also try and be on hand with him.
See you there.....
