This is a very nice truck.

I read somewhere in Expo Portal that you encountered import issue. Did you encounter emissions certification issues or was it more related to a safety homologation issue?

I work in truck manufacturing. Used to be involved in the export of commercial vehicles into Central and South America for a number of years until this recent assignment to Canada. I know the Central American countries were moving from US 1998 EPA (Euro-3) to US 2004 EPA (Euro-4). I am wondering if emissions certification was the primary hurdle or if it was something else?

Just wondering if you had exhausted all import options or if you are are still exploring other import options for Costa Rica? It has been a couple of years since I have been involved with my Latin America colleagues. But I don't mind making some inquiries if you are still looking for options.

Not sure about the Costa Rico situation, not my truck any more, the new owner did the reconfiguration and extensive expedition work for a trip but apparently red tape has gotten in the way. :(

I did not realize that you no longer own the truck.
