Somebody really should help them sort out their classes - "CLASS 48 – Land Rover SIII, Defender, Discovery"?

Re: 2016 Vancouver ABFM - Van Dusen Garden
Firstly it's great Tweety will be there!!! Series Land Rovers are also the Featured Mark at the Portland ABFM next year so it should be fun for all the Series truck owners. I know of a few people pulling the tarps off their Series Trucks to be at Van Dusen this year.
Secondly, yes I agree with John that we need to sort out the Van Dusen categories.
Class 47—Land Rover S1, II, IIa short & long wheelbase
Class 48—Land Rover SIII, Defender, Discovery
Class 49—Range Rover, LR2, LR3, Freelander
My suggestion would be
Class 47 - Series Land Rovers
Class 48 - Defenders
Class 49 - Discovery, Range Rover, LR2,3,4, and Evoque
Feedback please!!!!!!!!

Hello Rover-Landers,
This May we will be arranging our Club Social Gathering as part of the Vancouver All British Field meet on Sat 21st May.
It would be great to get lots of Land Rovers up on the "Hill", the Show is celebrating its 31st year and Land Rover will be in the limelight. We will have a club gazebo with some Merchandise and goodies, it will be a great day of all things British.
Pre-registration is required, simply click on this link and complete the application form;
http://www.westerndriver.com/?page_id=8914
Note- vehicles that are not registered that turn up on the morning of the event will likely not get entrance.
So get your Land Rovers ready, come join in with the fun. All Land Rovers are welcome, new or old, they can be shiny or clean.
Bring along a picnic, folding chairs, cameras etc .... see you there.
Cheers,
Andy

I'm coming. It's going to be tight with the 7am ferry. Should arrive at the gates with 15min to spare. See you there!

Craig,
I solicited feedback back in November. With only three classes it very difficult. What would you suggest??
It's about numbers, many years there are not enough Range Rovers or Disco's to give away all three prizes?
I agree with your comments but what's your solution or are you just throwing stones.

No, I'm not casting stones. I'll re-edit my previous post to try and make it clearer. No offence was intended.
I didn't know we had only three classes to work with. While the potential number of qualifying vehicles isn't equal between the classes, (and that was my point) one has to actually turn up to get a prize. If that's what the actual attendance numbers say, then it's fair enough.
No worries.
Matt - are you bringing the ambulance? I'd like to see that.

Yes I will be bringing the ambulance to Van Dusen. Hoping I'll make the gate I'll be in the 7am ferry which will put me at Van Dusen with 15min to get in!

Registered for it last week, so hope to get there! Was going to go last year but it got booked-out, so just went for a wander round.
Quite fancy the Whistler run on the Sunday, but haven't made up my mind yet...

One week to go...
There is only one week to go until the ABFM and the lastest count is 24 Land Rovers signed up. Last year they closed registration a few days before the event so if you are thinking of going don't think too long!! This year is a tribute to the Land Rover Series II
The Grizzly Torque will be there on display (not entered) and you can enter to win a signed numbered Robert Bateman Snow Leopard Print to be drawn for at the show.
Let's have a good time as feature Marque this year!
See you next Saturday!!
