Turn signal flasher for + ground
Adding Grote turn signal control and lights to my Series 1. Can I use a conventional American - ground flasher or do I need a + ground unit?

Do you have neg or pos ground in the truck?

Hmm. I think in theory you could use a modern flasher and wire it backwards, right? Anyone here have more info?
I think a modern flasher is cheap enough that it wouldn't hurt to try it. Just put a couple of inline fuses in, just to be safe.

Wire it backwards. That worked on my 80"

When I changed my 2A to neg ground, I didn't do anything to the flasher and it's always worked fine. I suspect the flasher doesn't care which way the electrons flow thru it.
