1963 Land Rover Series 2A Driveshaft Wanted

#1 Post by ryancr500 » Wed Nov 29, 2017 9:49 pm

I'm trying to reassemble the 63 Rover and hoping to replace some rusty parts.

I could use a new driveshaft from the transfer case to the rear differential.

I'm also in need of the rear axle brakes shoes and a new transfer case output shaft seal.
The oil leaking out contaminated the shoes

Let me know if you have anything

A very good local source for Series Parts is Rocky Mountain. Jeremy supplies almost everything and can get you almost anything.

The Universal Joints in the Propshaft can be replaced easily. I have a few used rear driveshafts in varying conditions but I'm on the Island. Jeremy can also get you a new Rear Driveshaft for a reasonable price.

Make sure you grease it liberally.

Just my thoughts, Colin

You might want to note what truck you have as long wheel base rear drive shafts and brakes are different than short wheelbase trucks.
