4.0 liter for disco
Looking for a 4l short or long block, current motor has 2 stripped head bolts. Thanks in advance

I haven't had these engines apart, but is it not much easier and cheaper to replace the stripped fasteners?

You can helicoil Rover V8 blocks. If done correctly, it is much stronger than just aluminum threads.

Yeah a helicoil was my first thought but wasnt sure what the tolernces for the water jacket in the block were, figure ill give it a try, still try an find a spare motor for parts aswell
