Need engine to measure for EV adapter in Parksville area.
I need to measure an engine and flywheel in order to update my electric motor adapter.
Anyone in the mid island area with an engine not installed that I can measure?
I think they are the same from late 50's on up?

So I can't help with the engine BUT I'm super interested in your EV conversion. Any chance you can share updates or your plans?
Thanks!

I'm not doing a conversion here.
I'm a manufacturer of conversion parts http://www.canev.com/ (for the last 28 years) I sold a few of the LR adapters to customers down under a few years ago and never had any issues but just recently had one not fit. I think the guys down under were just better at "Making it work". Now that I know there is a problem I want to be sure the new batch of adapters is perfect.
I also build adapters for the VW TDI but not one for the LR... yet. http://gastodiesel.tdconversions.com/

Flywheel housing should cover what you need for 4 cylinder land rovers from the 50's to the early 90's.

I’ve been pondering a series Land Rover electric conversion for a long time. Look forward to seeing the progress on this.
