Sept/Oct South Island social?

Newly returned to the Island, and new to Rovers. I have met Matt and Andrew locally, and seen a few Series II/IIA around and left notes, but haven't heard back from anyone. I have a '76 88 that I purchased from Hope area this spring, and will be doing some work over the winter. Any interest in a late end-of-season drive-in meetup later this month or early next?

Yes I would love to do a meet/drive as well soon.
Where are you located on the South Island? Myself I’m in Brentwood Bay with a series11a.

Hi Jonny and Franko, we should really plan a meetup sometime. I'm in the UVIC area with a Defender 110.

What type of drive are you interested in? We could have a pub meet sometime or go use the trucks in the bush.

The late season on the mainland is our season on the island because most of it is under lock and key during the summer.

I'm a new member and new to the Land Rover world too. I've got an 1984 Ex-MOD 90 out of Suffield.

I'm out on the peninsula too near Prospect Lake. I'd love to meet up with you all.

Jonny, Colin and Callum and anyone els can you guys do Thursday the 25th?
Are you guys thinking a after dinner meet up like around 8pm or a dinner meet up so more like 5 or 6pm?

Some pub ideas: 4-mile, Crooked Goose, Moon under water, Smugglers Cove, Spinnakers pub just to name a few.

Unfortunately, the law prevents me from going into anything that doesn't allow minors. I have been to the crooked goose it was nice but the 4-mile pub sounds nice as well.

Thursday works for me.
