oil filter number for 2ltr. or 2.6 lt. engine
Hi guys
I am looking for a valid oil filter number for either a 2 lt. or 2.6 lt. 6 cylinder engine, the Land rover number is RTC- 3183. I need a cross reference to one that is available locally, all the numbers on the Ottawa valley alternate parts list no longer work.
Thanks Victor

Why not just buy a bunch from a Rover parts supplier and not go through the hassle? They are most likely not available anymore from local sources. Genuine ones are only around $10.

Hi Red 90
I am kind of in a hurry to get this thing going and really do not want to wait 2 weeks or longer for delivery.
So still hoping somebody can help, Please??

Most Land Rover parts suppliers are two days from the UK not two weeks or maybe Rocky Mountain has them in stock.

Hi Red 90
No Rocky mountain does not have them in stock.
I have never got a UK delivery in 2 days at least not out here on the Island. 2 weeks is the normal for me.
Still trying to find one. So does any body have any valid numbers?
Thanks Victor

I found this on online:
FYI: Baldwin P188 is available at: https://killerfilter.com/filters/BALDWI ... ilter.html
Or, get a Rocky Mountain adapter, then just spin on the most common filter available.

Thanks Martin
I have some of those and they are invalid but I will try the new ones. Thank you.
The 6 cylinder oil filter has a very different attachment to the block then the 4 cylinder the adapter would not fit.
