Rover-Landers Social Gathering - Sunday 18th November

What- A Rover-Landers club social gathering and Hot Dog BBQ
When- 11am to 3pm on Sunday 18th November 2018 - Food served 12 noon to 1pm.
Where- Tsawwassen Causeway Beach, Directions- heading towards the ferry terminal, turn left (south) at the last traffic lights onto Tsawwassen Drive South and follow the road onto the gravel track that runs parallel with the causeway.
What Else- Enjoy complimentary Hot Dogs & Refreshments for Rover-Lander Members and their family, warm up at the Fire Pit, take a paddle on the beach! Dog friendly, kick tires, exchange Land Rover parts. Tip- Tsawwassen Mills Shopping Center is just up the street so if your “better half” doesn’t want to talk Land Rovers on the beach, then a drop off and pick up at the Shopping Center always works well!!

Hi Sam,

No worries, yes the event was late notice because we are "weather watching" at this time of the year to catch the good sunny days! I bet it was an awesome weekend to be up in Whistler!

There will be a off-road day run coming up in the next couple of weeks so keep an eye on the website.

My wife and I happened across this little gathering as we were on the way from our home in Victoria to see family on the mainland.
I’m not sure which of us was more excited to see a long line of Landies ‘glittering’ in the late fall sun.
‘Elsie’ took the place of another LR3 and we had a chance to meet some Rover-Lander celebrities and the people who drive them.
Happy dogs, snacks, coffee and a brilliant bit of chat about Land Rovers.
Looking forward to some off road adventures in the future.

Its always good to see how strong the magnetic appeal of a line of handsome Land Rovers is ...

Hope to see you at another meet. Keep an eye on this forum. We typically have a big yearly meet on the Island in June, maybe see you there?
