How do you tell what suffix the gear box is? Mine says
FRC 1809 is that a suffix c box?

I am assuming that you are talking about series transmissions? I think FRC 1809 is the casting number. To know what "suffix" the transmission is look for the serial number. There should be a letter at the end of it something like this: https://www.landyzone.co.uk/attachments ... 3-jpg.590/

That serial number gives a suffix c, series 3 full synchro gearbox. However, until you open it up, you don't absolutely know what you have inside, as many parts can be swapped out, so the suffix may not fully match what you actually have.dixono wrote: Thu Jun 06, 2019 7:26 am I see.
