Another softball ... can anyone recommend a good transmission oil for the 5spd manual? I cant source the ATF Dex 2 listed in manual and LR service dept recommended "texaco MTF 94" which the guy at Lordco said was ridiculous as a substitute for Dex2... any tried a tested would be appreciated!

Go and get some Klondike universal atf. It is a dex3 equivalent and will work fine.
Napa has it for a very good price.

I also use Redline MTL 75W80 (GL-4) in the Gearbox, available from Lordco.
I use Redline 75W90 (GL-5) in the Transfer Box
