Hi guys, I will be back in Sicamous on August 1st to do some more work on my 1970 Series 2a project. I will be removing the complete Koenig winch, PTO, selector assembly, and driveshaft. Everything in the picture below (not my pic). I don't really know what is involved and what parts I will need. I know I will need a rear PTO cover plate and selector cover plate but is there anything else I should know? Does anything have to be done in regards to the main shaft?
Thanks
Ps if anyone has the cover plates I need, I could be interested in purchasing them.

Re: Koenig Pto Winch Removal questions
Not as I recall, it should sell for a good price, they are excellent winches. Other than the transfer box cover plate, I think is it, as I recall the cover plated has needle bearings to support the output shaft from the Tranny?

Re: Koenig Pto Winch Removal questions
Thanks Colin, yes that is exactly what I suspected. I'm wondering if there is a bearing needed in the PTO cover plate, or any other little details like that.

Not a great picture but the needle bearing is in the cone and generally comes with it

Also Ray Wood might have an overdrive that would fit in the opening as an option?

Re: Koenig Pto Winch Removal questions
Ha, thanks for the bearing image. That helps a lot. No overdrive is needed. I'm using disco 1 axles and 32-inch tires. My final drive is already 1.56 times stock Series. I need to get some 4.37 or 4.76 gears.
