Over the years I've often seen people posting on the forum looking for their first "dream" Land Rover and I sometimes wonder if they really know what they are about to get themselves into.
I've come across this video from Britannia Restorations in Quebec and it does a great job of orienting first time buyers, I think it's well worth a viewing here's the link
He also does a 4 part video on an imported Defender 110 that is very eye-opening and in my opinion well worth the time to watch the whole series. Here's the first of the series
The usual caveats apply, buyer beware, etc. I have never met the videographer so my opinion is only based on what I watched and I recommend you form your own opinions. That being said, I think he offers some great advice.
Cheers, Rob
