A sunny day by the Lake ... Sunday 13th Feb 2022

#1 Post by ANDYD » Tue Feb 08, 2022 9:21 pm

Hi All,

I know, I know, its short notice but at this time of year we are heavily dependent on the weather forecast 8)

On Sunday we will be having a light off-road run, (ok, maybe some times a little more than light but fun), drive down to a lake side beach, for a couple of hours relaxation, maybe a camp fire, maybe some fishing, maybe some rock skimming... what ever you fancy. Back on the highway by 4pm.

See the Members section for more details

Cheers
Andy

Been looking forward to my first outing with the group, but I have to work up in Whistler on Sunday. Next time for sure. Probably.

It was a great day out. 19 Land Rovers of various vintages. All had fun and we even found a tough technical section that only 6 vehicles made it up, including a new Defender. Two by themselves and the rest with some “assistance” :bounce: Hopefully someone else managed to take some pics and can post them.

Looks like a great time, I am disappointed I wasn't able to attend. Whats the point of having a job if it means you can't go to these events? Oh ya, need the money to keep the Defender running so I can go to events like this...
