Hi Jim,
There has been a bit of buzz around Vancouver lately about building Sankey and Brockhouse lookalike trailers. There was also a Zebra striped 88 box conversion making the rounds of various backyards awhile back, maybe someone has this currently and can make comment on the construction. I've built a few trailers over the last 20 years and the one piece of advise I can offer is, don't fart around trying to utilize the landrover axle housing, go out and buy an axle from somewhere like Princess auto or a trailer outlet. The main reason for this is the weight saving and the simplicity of not having to gut the diff. Landrover rear chassis sections are easily adapted at the front for the hitch "A" frame. The tub itself is nicely set up for use as a trailer although not as tough as the Sankey box if you are going to use it for hauling rock and gravel.
