Solex carb. repairs
I was wondering if anyone has ever had their old solex carb throttle shaft rebushed. I have phoned a few engine shops and nobody does this anymore. Looking for someone on the Island preferably. Thanks, Robin

Hey Robin,
I had a Zenith, and a Solex throttle shaft bored out and bushes installed maybe three years ago at a local machinist (in Castlegar). Not the actual shaft (I got a new one), but the housing. You're right that you probably wont find an engine shop to do it, but almost any machinist would be able to.
