IIa SWB chassis on the island?

#1 Post by pblarose » Tue Sep 06, 2022 10:19 pm

I am about to pull apart my 1963 2A SWB, anyone know of any available chassis on the island? Just trying to understand what my options are going to be.

Sounds like the fun is about to begin! A great winter project!
Is your original chassis too far gone, any chance its repairable?

If you don't have any luck finding a chassis locally, next thing to try is the Vancouver parts suppliers in the forum links, even if they don't have one they may know someone who does have one ....
Good luck with your project, keep us updated on your progress in the "Projects & Rebuilds" section :D (Rover Porn! )

GOing to start removing panels this weekend. We'll see how bad it is from the top.

Excellent, I'll keep that in mind. Looking to start pulling panels this weekend to assess the damage state of everything.

Turns out the chassis isn't horrible, just needs a couple hours of welding
