Held at Chilliwack Heritage Park, 4140 Luckakuck Way (exit 116 off h-way #1)
Doors open 10am to 4pm - $20 entry per vehicle

It's time to get those rugged but handsome Land Rovers ready to join all your fellow Land Rover enthusiasts.
We will once again be encouraging you best camping set-ups and will have a full raffle table and lots of awards to give out!
Bring all your spare Land Rover parts to turn into cash! "one mans junk is another mans treasure"!

I am also arranging the same place as last year for out-of-towners who need a place to camp in Chilliwack for the night after the Founders Day event.

A non-profit equestrain organization has kindly offered their place on Chilliwack Mountain for us to camp. Suggested camping donation fee is $20 each vehicle.

The location is close by the Heritage Park offering rustic camping that overlooks the Fraser Valley. This will be perfect for those coming from out-of-town and also for those coming on the Sunday run as you will be right there in Chilliwack.

We are looking at obtaining approximate numbers of campers.

Oh this looks like fun. Even though I live in Chilliwack, if I am in town it would be fun to come camp for the night as a way to reconnect with all the Roverlanders I haven't seen in ages.

Hi Andy,
Mason and I will be attending Founders Day in Maud, the 1987 Defender 110. We would also like to camp, but Maud is not modified so it will either be a tent or the floor in the back. Audrey, the 64 2a 88” is unavailable as she is in kit form, but getting better by the day.
We would also like to do some of the Drive on the Sunday but need to be back in Langley by 3pm for my wife’s birthday etc.

Hi, good to hear you are coming along.

Camping in the Land Rover or in a tent is no problem.
Also we can peel you off a little early on the Sunday run if you need to be home earlier

Quick update on camping, I have been updating the list of folks who contacted me via post #9 above. If I missed anyone, please let me know.

The camping site is a private site with a gate. The plan is to meet 7.00 pm this Saturday evening at this parking lot in Chilliwack:

7560 Vedder Rd, Chilliwack, BC

We will then caravan as a group to the campsite which is about 15 minutes from Chilliwack.

I (Asian guy) will be in a maroon 2003 Land Rover Disco with a Baroud hard shell tent if you need to find me on Founders Day. See you on Saturday!

Just checking.... is anyone from Kelowna planning to come to Founders Day? I have a rear differential that needs to go to Robin Langlands who also lives in Kelowna. He busted his differential and needs a replacement. Unfortunately, he can't make it out to Founders Day this weekeend.

But unfortunately won't be camping over the weekend, but im really excited to catch up with you people tommorrow,

i'm taking my series2a tommorrow to chilliwack and will taking the "scenic slower" route from vancouver --> loughheed highway --> 7a --> mission --> abbortsfod --> chilliwack , if anyone else want to join ! Andreas?
